I haven’t been completely vegan since September 2011 (about 7 weeks pregnant) I still try to include the healthiest and most nutritious foods in my diet at all times. I plan on returning to the vegan diet 100% after my baby is born (EDD is 4/30/2012) ***

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. My name is Jennifer Krausert. I am twenty six years old. I grew up in Minnesota, and moved to SoCal in 2003, studying Merchandise Product Development at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. I never ended up finishing my studies at FIDM because fashion was no longer my passion. I took some time off to figure out what my passions really were, and I fell in love with health and cooking. I would stay up all night reading blogs, books, cooking, baking, and experimenting in the kitchen. I fell completely head over heals for the vegan/raw diet and have never looked back. I actually crave raw and vegan foods now, and could care less about the old foods I used to love. Becoming a vegan is the best thing that has ever happened to me! I also realize how important exercise is, and now I practice yoga (hot yoga, hot power fusion, or hot yoga sculpt) as much as I can – usually 5-6 x a week. It is my favorite way to break a sweat, and trust me in hot yoga you definitely sweat (get all those yucky toxins out!) These healthy changes have changed my life in such a positive way, and I would like to share with the world what I have learned so far. Hopefully I can inspire you to make your own healthy changes and then teach what you learn to others! In this blog I will document what I eat, recipes, things related to health/nutrition/diet/exercise, pictures, and I’m sure lots of other random stuff.
